This uniform was worn by Don Larsen during arguably the greatest accomplishment in sports history.
New York Yankees home pinstripe uniform (top and bottom) worn by Don Larsen during his Game 5 Perfect Game on October 8, 1956 at Yankee Stadium against the Brooklyn Dodgers. Don took the uniform home, loaned it to the San Diego Hall of Champions around 1961 where it was housed until March, 2012. Currently it is on display at the Yogi Berra Museum & Leaning Center while it is being auctioned at steinersports.com

The jersey from the only perfect game in World Series history is AMAZING! Just the story of where it's been from the last out to the auction block 56 years later is incredible. I love the fact that the first 56 years of the story has been locked in by the owner to preserve, document and assure this piece to the new owner. The story will continue and an ownership history created for all to see so if it ever changes hands again there is no doubt as to the this being THE jersey Don Larson put down 27 Dodgers in a row in! Thanks to current owner wywhp and Collectors Proof for supplying this avenue to legitimize this one of a kind piece of baseball history and for all to enjoy!

This is, without a doubt, one of the most storied pieces of memorabilia in sports today.

This has to be 1 of the most INCREDIBLE pieces of game used memorabilia Ever to be auctioned off. I wouldn't be surprised if it sells for well over $1,000,000.00. Congrats to the person that wins this Gem!
