- Andy Woodward here from Mad About Sport Ltd, you may remember me from the Sport & Soccer memorabilia shows on Ideal World, and various other shopping channels, the shows were great fun to do I hope you enjoyed watching them. We are regular contributors to local and national radio stations and were resident memorabilia experts on MUTV Manchester United’s own TV station. We currently have a regular memorabilia show on BBC Radio Kent, were listeners phone in for valuations and advice, check the home page for dates of upcoming shows and get online and listen!
We have been trading approximately 25 years. The company started trading in a small way to local outlets, however once our name and reputation for selling high quality, genuine memorabilia was established, the company grew rapidly, supplying throughout the UK and Europe.
Mad About Sport Ltd are UACC Registered Dealers No. 221 and have been for the last 15 years. UACC are the ONLY Worldwide recognised organization with regarding autographs, and the registered dealer programme has dealers from all parts of the World, and we are proud registered dealers 221. We cannot stress the importance that you only purchase memorabilia where you can check out the supplier, there should be no circumstance where a company will not inform with the suppliers details! If this happens I strongly advise you NOT to purchase memorabilia under these conditions. Before making any purchase via the internet , auction channel, or shopping channels ask who the supplier is of the item you wish to buy, and check out the supplier yourself.
Beware of purchasing via eBay as in our companies opinion the majority of the items offered for sale are FAKE, if you do purchase from the internet make sure you only buy from UACC REGISTERED DEALERS, EPS dealers, You can find a list of the dealers by visiting www.uacc.org or www.epsignings.co.uk
Mad About Sport Ltd attend many trade shows (including Memorabilia at the NEC, Collectormania, etc) and arrange special celebrity signings around the UK, we will often bring along a celebrity for the signings like my close mate the former World Welterweight champion John H Stracey.
