$1.2 Billion of the $1.7 Billion in counterfeit goods seized by
U.S. Customs in 2013 originated in Mainland China. Though that's
just a small percentage of the $250 Billion officials say
counterfeiting costs the global economy, it's a strong indicator
that China needs to do more. And we, as consumers, need to be
make better choices.

This is a great piece on ESPN on the prevalence of counterfeit
NFL merchandise. What's discouraging is the assertion, made
multiple times throughout the article and related video, that
there is nothing to be done to combat this counterfeiting. Our
members know that's not the case. Let's hope the NFL takes

Every once in a while, a member registers an item that transcends
its sport and really belongs in a category perhaps called
Wish You Were Here Productions, the memorabilia industry
stalwart, has done just that by registering Don Larsen's
Game-used 1956 Perfect Game Uniform.
