Canada... Not so much - yet...
In contrast to the piece I posted yesterday, Canada may be half a step behind, but catching up fast, in addressing counterfeiting.
The Canadian Anti-Counterfeiting Network sums Canada's counterfeit market: "The lack of resources combined with outdated laws makes Canada a lucrative, low risk target for international and domestic IP criminals."
That said, they recognize the problem and, from our perspective, appear to be building more momentum in addressing counterfeit trade goods than its southern neighbor. Read more:
