Get your printers ready...

We released a whole series of things this week including something for those who run stores and trade show events. If you would be so kind as to travel over to one of your items, you will notice (at least) two new links on the left side that allow you to print QR codes and Certificates of Authenticity. Let's start with QR codes. What is a QR code? A QR code is that strange box with dots in it. When scanned with barcode scanner on your phone, you will be taken right to the item's detail page. This ensures that people won't be able to mess up when looking at your stuff. These are the same codes as on the Certificate of Authenticity and purchasable tags. It's new technology and if you haven't yet heard of it, you will soon. We've been seeing it in more advertisements and magazines promoting so people will get the hang of it soon enough. These printable QR codes come in three different sizes; small, medium, and large. You can print as many as you would like and hang them next to your item or in a little folder with our printable COA's (described below) or on the side of a building to let everyone know and you can get it for FREE! They include a large version of the QR code, the title of the item, and a link to the item. Now, that's great. This is sure to promote your item and have people visiting your items left and right. To one-up ourselves, we have created a printable/downloadable Certificate of Authenticity. We offer it in five different sizes so you can be sure to fill any paper stock you have to shove in your printer from index cards to full 8.5 x 11. This COA will display the main image, title, and description. It will also have the current owner (you) as well as an originator if one existed. We've also thought ahead and went and placed a little space for your to put your Collectors Proof adhesive tag (available in our shop) so people can grab the COA, scratch and claim, and be on their way. You can then sit back, count your proceeds and know that someone else will be enjoying your collectible. Is that it? Nope. We've also added the ability to post items on your Facebook wall if you have linked your Collectors Proof account with your Facebook account. This is great for anyone who wants to show everyone what they bought or what they've had for years. You can also post to your wall once the item has been created using the link on the left side of the item detail page. This has been a great release and we worked really hard so that you could share your items with your friends and potential customers so be sure to check out the new updates. We wish you the best of luck with your endeavors and good luck with your fall trade shows and your Q4 sales and don't forget to have people claim your items on Collectors Proof.
